# Situación de aprendizaje: Eco-Warriors of the Future para 6º de Primaria
Descripción
"Eco-Warriors of the Future" is a project-based learning unit designed for 6th-grade Primary students. Acting as international environmental journalists, students will research current ecological challenges, discuss sustainable solutions, and produce an English-language podcast series titled "Green Voices for the Planet".
Throughout the six sessions, students will develop oral and written communication skills in English by interviewing experts, writing persuasive scripts, and debating climate action using key vocabulary related to ecosystems, pollution, renewable energy, and the 3 Rs (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle).
Justificación
Learning a foreign language in 6th Grade must go beyond rote grammar exercises; it needs to empower students to communicate meaningful ideas about global issues. Climate change and environmental sustainability provide an authentic, engaging context for real-world language application.
By creating a podcast in English, students practice all four communicative skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) within a collaborative digital framework, building confidence in oral expression and expanding their intercultural competence.
