# Situación de aprendizaje: The Magic Toy Shop para 1º de Primaria

Descripción

"The Magic Toy Shop" is a communicative and playful unit designed for 1st-grade Primary students learning English as a foreign language. The classroom transforms into a magical toy store where toys come alive at night.

Through songs, storytelling, TPR (Total Physical Response) games, flashcards, and simple role-play, students will acquire basic English vocabulary related to toys (ball, doll, car, robot, teddy bear, train, bike), colors (red, blue, yellow, green, pink, purple), and numbers (1 to 10). They will learn to express their likes using structures such as "I like my red car" or "It is a big robot".

Justificación

Learning a foreign language in 1st Grade must be an enjoyable, active, and multisensory experience. Toys represent an essential element of childhood, capturing children's interest and fostering emotional connections with the new language.

By integrating oral communication with physical movement, songs, and visual arts, young learners develop listening comprehension, oral confidence, and basic vocabulary without feeling overwhelmed by written grammar.
